The President of Ascena’s Shared Services Group (“SSG”) and Chief Operating Officer wanted to design, unify and collaborate on each individual functional and Shared Services domain related strategy for the fiscal periods of 2016 through 2018. In addition, it was critical that the functional and domain strategies are aligned to the five Brand strategies for the same fiscal periods. The COO needed to develop key Operating Model components such as SSG Processes, Operating Principles, Strategies, and Business Success Metrics as part of this challenge.
