The Chief Information Officer (“CIO” took on an IT Organization that was struggling with its primary business customer, the Medical and Surgical Devices Business Unit. The IT Organization was performing at low levels of maturity (“Utility levels or lower), low levels of client satisfaction, and inconsistent delivery. The CIO’s goal was to improve alignment with its business partner, overall performance, while transforming IT to higher levels of maturity.
