Problem Statement
Client is a global non-for-profit organization focused on validating and certifying the safety of all vessel transportation around the globe for Marine, Government, Platform and Energy / Cargo related customers. We were engaged over 2 years in Enterprise Strategy design and implementation processes.
Engagement Approach
Our approach was to execute Steps 3 and 4 from our Strategy design and Operating Model transformation framework. Our engagement reflected a 90-Day process to design the Enterprise Center of Excellence “CoE” for a new digital, data and innovation process capability. We utilized internal (employee base, process owners, leadership, etc. ) and client’s external stakeholders across their entire ecosystem (partners, suppliers, vendors, financial services, etc.). The Innovation Process was completed in collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders bringing in new capabilities (agile development, new platforms ), cycle times, intake process, product portfolio, and major stage gates.
Results
To date, we have increased the operating margins, improved transparency across the Enterprise in terms of data for customers and internal purposes. We also designed a digital and innovation process and simplified all of the Mid-to Back Office Core Processes (IT inclusive).
