Case Study
Global Manufacturing Company
Head Of Application Integration And Business Analysts – Bruce Clark
Challenges Faced
Opportunity to provide Executive Coaching to the leader of Enterprise Application Integration and Business Analyst on behalf of a $2.5bn MFG Company. Client requested Executive coaching and help with reinventing the Operating Model for the Business Analyst role and transformation. Candidate requested Executive coaching to bring more Executive presence, reinvent the BA role to accompany broader domain perspective and build on his professional development objectives.
Engagement Approach
Tailored our Executive Coaching process to build on the needs of the candidate as well as his team of Bas. Our approach focused on advancing his leadership communication, style and presence with his peers as well as Executives in the C-Suite. Our approach included a “strengths-based” assessment and Executive Coaching process including best practices and an independent assessment (360 Review) process. We also worked on this candidates’ relationship building and management process across the Enterprise IT organization.
Results
The results of our work elevated this candidate’s role in the Information Technology organization as well as brought new attention and opportunities to his BA Team across the IT Landscape. The BAs are now heavily involved in Systems integration and Business Analyst roles in mergers and acquisition activities. This Leader is now an integral part of a recent acquisition of the current Company and asked to stay on in his current role in the New Co. We created a updated Operating Model to bring more process-based BA capabilities to the table which has driven a new sense of motivation and engagement amongst the team.
