Challenges Faced

This was an opportunity to provide Executive Coaching and Mentoring on behalf of the Head of Enterprise Applications and Chief Digital Officer for a $3.2bn MFG organization. Our client and Executive coaching candidate requested the opportunity to have an Executive Coach to support him in developing his leadership skills and style.  Candidate was also interested in Executive Coaching to further his opportunity as a successor to Chief Information Officer in the current organization.

Engagement Approach

Our Executive Coaching approach was tailored to the Executive and his organization’s culture.  Our approach reflects a “strengths-based” philosophy and independent assessment (360 Review) process.  Our approach was inclusive of mentoring the candidate in both scheduled coaching sessions and impromptu or “just in time” mentoring efforts on an as needed basis.

Results

The results of our work propelled this candidate into the No. #1 position as the successor to the Chief Information Officer, which was later confirmed and accepted by the C-Suite along with the Board of Directors.  In addition, we were successful in expanding this candidates’ relationships at his peer and C-Suite levels.  As a result of our work on the next level of Leadership, this executive has created the additional capacity to take on a new Corporate initiative running AI for the entire Enterprise.
