Client is a global, healthcare organization that was transforming its business operating model from a traditional distribution capability to a more dynamic and tech-enabled healthcare Operating Model This engagement began with an assessment for the Global CIO, Business Unit CIO’s, and Head of Infrastructure and Applications, as well the Head of its Innovation Unit that reported into the office of the CIO.
Engagement Approach
We assessed the current state of the existing IT Strategy, an assessment of the IT organization and its capabilities to address the Business Partner demand today as well as tomorrow. We supported our client in designing the future state IT Strategy and critical components of the IT Operating Model transformation. This engagement was about positioning IT to address the demand side of its Business Partners which was in a rapid cycle of change including business transformation, growth and acquisitions.
Results
Our work culminated in designing an IT Strategy informed by our Enterprise assessment focused on 3 major strategic pillars with implications to its Governance, Roles and Responsibilities, Operating Principles, and Organizational design.
