J. Chris Scalet, Advisory Board Member and Senior Consultant

Chris, in his role as the Chief Information Office and Head of the Global Business Services organization reported to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation.  

Chris was also a member of the Merck Executive Committee, the top 8 leaders in the company responsible for setting the business strategy, policy, and operations of the Corporation.  In this capacity, serve as the executive officer responsible for all Global Shared Services – Human Resources, Procurement, Finance, Facilities, Travel, Corporate Security, Corporate Aviation, and Fleet.  

Chris also has been responsible for the Company’s Lean/Six SIGMA, the reengineering of the Finance, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain business processes and systems globally as well all Information Technology.
